What is CEREC® used for?

Inlay Restoration

Patients with amalgam fillings frequently experience amalgam breakdowns and tooth structure damage due to recurring decay, which causes stress fractures in the enamel. CEREC® inlay restorations, unlike most laboratory-made crowns, maintain the tooth's integrity. CEREC® materials ensure optimum bond strength and improve aesthetics, giving you a smile you've always wanted. CEREC® inlay restorations are a tooth-colored, smooth replacement for dental material that has been lost due to cavities. CEREC® inlays use cutting-edge CAD/CAM technology to precisely match the color and structure of your teeth.

Onlay Restorations

Silver amalgam restorations frequently result in unattractive crowns that must be replaced by systematic degradation over time. Rather than replacing the existing amalgam, CEREC® Onlays are used to preserve the tooth's original structure and give it a more natural appearance. Onlays, also known as partial crowns, are more significant than inlays and cover the irregularities on the tooth's surface. CEREC enamel-like ®'s material has the appearance and feel of natural teeth.

Crowns

Crowns, or tooth-shaped caps, are used to restore the shape, strength, size, and look of a damaged tooth. When fillings are lost, patients often require new crowns, taking up to three appointments to complete. CEREC®, on the other hand, has the appearance and feel of a natural tooth and can be placed in only one visit. CEREC® crowns regain your genuine smile while preserving healthy tooth structure.

Veneers

Chipped teeth are common after teeth that have been treated using compressed composite material. CEREC® veneers fix the incisal length and angle in only one visit, returning the tooth to its original appearance. Veneers are thin laminates of tooth-colored porcelain glued to the front of teeth to cover the front surface and improve the appearance. CEREC® veneers are custom-designed for each tooth to ensure a perfect fit.

Multiple Restorations

Patients who had many unsuccessful restorations required multiple appointments to get a complete repair. Multiple inlays and onlays can be produced, bonded, polished, and put simultaneously with CEREC®. CEREC ® technology allows numerous restorations to be completed in one appointment, resulting in a stunning smile in a fraction of the time.
