Without the use of metal wires or brackets, Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear removable aligners.
Dr. Mariscal, Dr. Boege, Dr. Munoz, or Dr. Flores-Hutton uses a combination of their knowledge and 3-D computer imaging technology to create the aligners.
Each pair of aligners is worn for around two weeks, with the exception of eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
Your teeth will shift – little by little, week by week – as you replace each aligner with the next in the series, until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Mariscal, Dr. Boege, Dr. Munoz, or Dr. Flores-Hutton has suggested.
Once every 6 weeks, you'll see Dr. Mariscal, Dr. Boege, Dr. Munoz, or Dr. Flores-Hutton to make sure your therapy is going well.
The usual treatment length is 9–15 months, and the average number of aligners worn throughout treatment is 18–30, however both might vary depending on the case.
